Preserved Transparent Animals by Iori Tomita
These see-through critters are preserved in jars and injected with amazing technicolor enzymes to make them all glow-y. Break it down, Science: “Tomita uses an enzyme to dissolve the natural proteins in the flesh. He then injects red dyes into the harder bones and blue dyes into the softer cartilage, thus highlighting usually unseen internal structures. The dead creature is then preserved in a jar of glycerin”. You can even buy miniature versions of these… in Japan.

The Good Fight
Fighting the good fight is never easy — neither impossible. I want you to ponder on the thought that each and every person out there in the world is fighting their own spiritual warfare. As believers of the faith, THAT should compel us to move. Ponder upon this.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (Philippians 4:8)
You and I live in a tremendously selfish world. Us, getting angry is simply just a choice. To be angry? Or not to be angry? And that is the same situation with fear. To fear? Or not to fear? It’s as straightforwardly straightforward as that. I read a quote regarding tough circumstances. In general, it says: our circumstances do NOT determine God’s character — He is always and forevermore good.
*Analogy here: our vision is super VHS-sy compared to God’s ultimate HHHHHHHHHHHD perception.
My advice to those who are:
- encountering life’s storms right now is to BE COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY STILL. Have faith. Have hope. Have love.
- in their “valley faith” is to MAKE THE EFFORT. Make the effort to have an ever-developing relationship with our God, One and Only. Establish friends in the faith. Stay away from temptations.
- in their “mountaintop faith” is to REMEMBER WHAT YOUR SPECIAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD FELT LIKE. Record them (eg journaling). Share your experiences. To remember, I believe, helps us rise from the ashes.
God understood the importance of the “small group”. He knows that the journey of the Christian faith is not meant to be travelled on alone. Oh, how I wish I could give you a huge, friendly embrace when you need/ed it. So, *virtual hugs* everybody!
I hope I’ve made an impact on your precious life somehow (even the slightest of the slights, hopefully). Remember that you’ve been made with a special purpose and a special plan… And when the right the time comes, it’s just going to be indescribable. DO NOT EVER THINK THAT YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN, BECAUSE WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.. (it’s just that we’re scattered all over the world.. hehehe)… So, stand up. Stand firm. STAND FIRM IN THE LORD.
